Dr Ann Bennett graduated from the University of New South Wales in 1979. She has extensive experience practicing medicine in hospitals and in General Practice in Britain, rural NSW and Queensland. She has advanced skills in aviation medicine and has devoted time in recent years to teaching medical students and general practice registrars. She enjoys all aspects of family medicine.
Dr Leeann Carr-Brown
Dr Leeann Carr-Brown graduated from the University of New South Wales in 1988 and completed her General Practice training in 1992. She holds a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has further training in fertility regulation and an interest in complex chronic health conditions. She has worked in medicine both in hospitals and general practice in Sydney, Canberra, Bungendore, Melbourne and Tamworth in NSW. She has practiced on Tamborine Mountain since 1996 and raised her family here. Dr Carr-Brown currently sits on the board of directors of General Practice Gold Coast.
Dr Jan Zomerdijk
Dr Jan Zomerdijkcompleted his Medical Degree and GP specialist training in The Netherlands. He has worked in a hospital setting in southern Africa for 5 years and in The Netherlands where he ran his own General Practice for 14 years before relocating to Australia in 2003. Besides English, he speaks Dutch, German and some French. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners, has completed his Diploma of Skin Cancer Medicine (Skin Cancer College Australasia)and holds a Diploma in Dermatology (The Australian Institute of Dermatology). He is and interest in third world medicine and regularly volunteers in a remote community in the Highlands of Papua New Guinea.
Dr Henri Coombs
Dr Henri Coombs completed his medical degree (MBChB 1998) and GP qualifications (MRCGP 2003) in England. He completed diplomas in Children’s and Women’s health in Sydney in 2002. He has also completed a Diploma in Sports Medicine, a Diploma in Skin Cancer Medicine (Skin Cancer College Australasia)and a Diploma in Dermatology (The Australian Institute of Dermatology). He works part time in the Emergency Department and has an interest in all areas of family medicine.
Dr Sanne Kreijkamp-Kaspers
Dr Sanne Kreijkamp-Kaspers completed her Medical Degree, her GP Specialist Training and her PhD in the Netherlands before relocating to Australia with her family in 2007. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Dr Sanne enjoys the full range of general practice including working with all age groups and has a special interest in Women’s health.
Dr Joe Gambin
Dr Joe Gambin has joined the Practice in January 2017 as a Medical Acupuncturist. He has 30+ years experience as a GP, primarily in rural practice, including 20+ years as a GP Medical Acupuncturist with Medicare recognition. He recently has completed further training to gain his AHPRA recognition. This included training and examinations in Laser Acupuncture, and traditional Chinese Medicine.
All appointments for acupuncture should be made through your usual TMMP GP. Consultation will include a detailed history and examination, review of medical records, investigations, questions answered, and informed signed consent before treatment commences.
Dr Cobie Powell
Dr Cobie Powell graduated from her medical degree on the Gold Coast in 2011 and has recently completed her GP specialist training (2017). She has completed a diploma in Children's Health. Dr Cobie is keen to assist in all areas of general practice, however she has a special interest in paediatrics and women's health.
Dr Marije Dalebout
Dr Marije Dalebout completed her medical degree in New Zealand in 2002 and has worked in Australia since then. She has completed a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and a Masters in Public Health and Tropical Medicine. She enjoys all aspects of general practice and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Marije has a special interest in chronic disease management, women's health and children's health.
Dr Hok-Yee Siu
Dr Hok-Yee Siu is originally from sunny Scotland, he graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2011. He practised in Scotland for two years before moving to Australia. Here he has worked in emergency medicine for 4 years before completing his training in the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He enjoys all aspects of general practice but has a keen interest in emergency and procedural medicine, paediatrics, and dermatology.
