• Home Visits

  Home visits are offered to patients registered with this practice, who reside on the mountain and  whose condition prevents them from attending the surgery. Bulk billing is not generally available for this service. The gap fee for this service is $40.00. Please phone reception to organise a home visit if required.

• Nursing Services

  RN Natalie Cvelbar RN Gloria McKenzie RN Julie McLaren  RN Melanie  Johnson RN Judith Jaeger     RN Kerry Agassiz          We are fortunate to have the services of Sue Auchter who is now a fully qualified Nurse Practitioner.  See section on Nurse Practitioner. We also have 6 Registered Nurses who are able to provide a wide range of services. These include monitoring & advice for people with diabetes, heart disease, health information, antenatal checks, infant vaccinations, child developmental checks, support & advice to parents, lactation advice, Home Health Assessments to people aged 75 & over, Pap Smears, dressings, ear syringing, some repeat scripts, spirometry, ECGs,  INR tests and more. In order to maintain the potency of vaccines patients are advised to purchase private vaccines immediately prior to administration by the nurse or doctor so that they are out of the fridge for the shortest possible time.

• Test Results

  These can be obtained by phoning the practice preferably between the hours of 1pm & 2pm.   Our practice policy states that we shall contact you only if your results are not normal.  If there is an abnormality present that requires discussion we shall attempt to contact you at least 3 times via phone and post.  Should we not be able to make contact after this we shall finally send you a notification via registered mail.  We also have a reminder system in place for tests and appointments.  Please let us know if you do not wish to be reminded for these. Please make sure we always have your current home and email address & phone numbers.
